Upd2 : I'm add Wavsour and scripts for encoding and decoding files from XMPlay , added encoders and decoders :

LAME MP3 (Encode / Decode)
Monkey's Audio Encoder (Encode / Decode)
MPC Encoder (Encode / Decode)
MPEG Layer II Encoder (Only Encode)
OptimFROG Encoder (Encode / Decode)
Opus Encoder (Encode / Decode)
TAK Encoder (Encode / Decode)
TTA Encoder (Encode / Decode)
Vorbis OGG Encoder (Encode / Decode)
WavPack Encoder (Encode / Decode)
WMA Encoder (Only Encode , may not work at all)

now you can in player open WAVE file and encode to this formats , also you can open any from this formats and decode to WAVE and next you can edit this wav file in Wavsour )

Upd3 : very more a lot of improvements especially in mega version
Upd4 : very more a lot of improvements, fully completely redesigned alhorytm encoding / decoding and transcoding files , add in list for registy all Windows Media Player extensions , exclude all video formats )
