How to play the HLS stream of the demoscene radio HYPR RADIO:

Radio website: https://hypr.website/
Normal stream address (works): https://hypr.website/hypr.mp3
HLS stream address (does not work): https://hypr.website/hls/hypr.m3u8

HLS is more reliable, but even after installing basshls.dll, I cannot play it. VLC opens it without any problems.

That HLS stream seems to be playing fine on Windows 8/10/11 here. What Windows version are you having problems on? XMPlay has built-in HLS support, so you don't need to install anything extra for that, but the stream contains fragmented MP4 segments, and support for fMP4 was introduced to Media Foundation in Windows 8, so the stream probably won't work on older Windows. The XMP-AAC plugin doesn't include fMP4 support, so that unfortunately won't help.
