Are there any plans to add support for the RCP format to the XMP-MIDI plugin?

It plays fine in foobar2000, but it would be helpful if XMPlay could support it as well.

There are no plans for that currently. I'd never heard of the RCP format before, so I had a little look into it just now, and it appears to be quite different to the standard MIDI format, so not a quick and simple thing to add.

Perhaps there's a RCP to MID converter available, which you could use to convert the files for playback with XMPlay?

It appears that converting from RCP to MID is possible,
but the volume of files is so vast that converting them all is not feasible.

I understand that there are no plans to support the RCP format.
