When I call

BASS_Init(1,44100,0,Application.Handle,nil);
7 threads are adding to my app (2 of you, and 5 most likely of my sounddriver)

when I call BASS_Free(); afterwards
2 threads are closing (probably yours), but my sounddriver threads (probably) are not free-ed. Still 5 left.

Is this normal, is there a way to close those 5? Or does reopening them by using BASS_Init causes again the same startup time?

(When I close my app, all the threads are being closed.)

Yep, that is normal... the system may create additional threads (varies depending on the OS and drivers). They'll just be created on the first BASS_Init call - you should not find more threads created with subsequent calls.
