a program for dj'ing

i've got a question - can i make a program for mixing (for djs) with bass? i need to speed up the mp3's (i need to have 2 mp3's and every one has to have its own speed which the user can change); every mp3 has to be played by another sound card. do you know some good functions or procedures which can help by this? or maybe has anybody already tried to make such a program? please write your suggestions. thanx

It's possible, there's a few DJ'ing programs using BASS already out there, including my own Yiff DJ (http://www.hukka.furtopia.org/projects/yiffdj/).
Read the BASS helpfile and browse this forum. Hope this helps.

In the bass zip file with the library from the bass section.

Look on the left menu- click BASS then click "download" near the top of the screen. Pick your nearest server (flag). Unzip then read "bass.chm". :D
