This weekend I listened to some old records from the John Lander's Hit Music USA era. It was just this oldschool feeling that came up to me and then I looked at some recent skins on winamp.com ..

Hmm I gave it a go and after eight hours I ripped my own oldschool radio skin for XMPlay together. I already asked the original author who did not provide permission for publishing this skin (which I fully understand). But I have just fun with this skin and would like to share the love for XMPlay..

Skin title: Starsky & Hutch vs. Beastie Boys

The normal mode does not have a volume slider since the mini mode uses the knob routine which replaces all sliders in mini and normal mode. Maybe Ian is fixing this in future version because I plan on some real radio skins for the next time. Based on original classic radio shemes from the 70's or earlier. We will see.

Very nice one! Too bad the original author didn't give his OK for your re-skin.

I like the side bars on the info window... Well done! Even if it wasn't your idea, you made a technically good "translation". Smiley
