The MP3s tags display well in other players(e.g. Windows Media Player)
but it cannot in xmplay.
there is a picture of my problem.

After the artist and title is something that i don't know(in the red circle)
when i play .ogg , the problem disappear.

I have a problem with showing japanese text in XMPlay (latest .6 update, Polish WinXP SP1 with japanese/chinese fonts installed)

The correct kanjis only show in the popup bubble, everything else just shows garbage.

The pictures below show what I'm talking about. I've uploaded an example file to the incoming folder.

Nice kanjis. :)

Bad something.

Bad something else.

Strange. Those boxes mean that the character is not available in the font, but they aren't shown here (the proper stuff is). Maybe you could try re-installing the "East Asian" language files?

As for the strange characters in the ID3v1 "Artist" tag... ID3v1 tags do not support Unicode, so they are displayed according to your "Language for non-Unicode programs" setting.

But stp and other players show the right ID3 tag.
When i convert the mp3 to ogg,the problem disappeared.
I use the mp3 tag edit plugin(in_mp3.dll) and it can display the right
ID3 tag.Why?

My reply was referring to Knurek's post. I didn't realize you had uploaded your file (it wasn't there when I last looked). I've now put up an update that should sort your problem, let me know if it doesn't.
