Cannot delete media files

i select the menu "remove & delete file" of the playlist,
but i get a warning window from windows saying "cannot read
source file or disk"
sometimes i can delete the file,but sometimes i cannot,why?

well, if you try to delete things from a normal cd, that won't work. maybe you don't have the rights to delete them, or that sector of your disk is damaged.

I don't think so. i use Windows xp with FAT32,i am the administrator.
Is there something wrong with the file name?
i use CJK,not alaphbeta.

Perhaps you inadvertently moved/removed/renamed the files already, via windows? If so, the list still stays the same, but XMPlay can't remove (or otherwise handle) the files, because it doesn't see them.

Trying to remove a file like this, creates exactly the kind of error message you described.

Oops. I forgot to update the "delete files" bit to support Unicode, so it wouldn't work with funky filenames. An update has been snuck into the XMPlay ZIP :)
