delete playlist shortcut
« on: 11 Nov '04 - 23:45 »
Hello,
just a quick question.
How can I delete the whole playlist (preferrably with a keyboard shortcut).
I sometimes have a few hundred songs in the playlist and then I get sick of them and want to play something different.
So far I need to <delete> key every single song, which takes ages. There must be a better way.

Any ideas

Regards

Andreas ;)

I've also been rooting for this, but for now, bind a key to Select All and then hit Del.

You can do it via GUI by right-clicking the minus symbol, where you'll also get more deleting options.

How do you do a select all? I can't find that in the shortcut list.

Thanks that's a good tip.
I didn't know there was a right click on theses buttons.

You'll have to make a new shortcut for this as it isn't used by default.

Go to the shortcut tab in options, and select "list nav - select all", and click "Click here to add shortcut" and press the key you want to be used.

Now you can make another shortcut after it for "List - remove", this can use the same shortcut as the last one to do it in one key press.

Note the order in the list of shortcuts has to be "select all" then "delete".

Can find more info Here.
