ok first of all, hi, i'm new to this board, but didnt find similar topics,
and couldn't find any info about the problem on the net, and its really annoying me.
yesterday i downloaded the latest version of xmplayer (as a few of my friends advised it to me, and said it was less bulky and faster), and ofcoarse loved it and immediately removed winamp.
but i'm having the weirdest (and most annoying problem) ...
whenever i have xmplayer running (doesnt matter if its playing or not) al of a sudden only half of my keystrokes get registered
(as if its intercepting them) , when i close xmplayer (or kill the process) the problem dissapears (until i open up xmplayer again).
i've tried removing all keyboard shortcuts, with no succes, i havent got a clue why this is occurring or how to solve it (as i would really like to continue useing xmplayer)
oh and i guess the required info :
i'm running it on a windows xp pro x64 (yeah the 64bit version)
and some specs: 4GB of ram, a core 2 duo 6400 on a intel DG965WH mobo.
thanks in advance,
after i was able to duplicate the problem on my laptop (unfortunately running vista)
i found out the problem doesnt lie with xmplayer directly but with its interaction with one of my firefox plugins (foxytunes) it supports xmplayer but apparently seems to create this problem with the latest version.
sorry for the hassle , and thanks for the comment & support.
