audio mix

Hi, all!

I am new to 'Audio' world, and I am wondering if BASS can take care of 'Audio Mix'.  What I'm really trying to do is to mix two or more music files like MP3 or WAV into a new file (without playing them, if possible.).  Is it possible to do this using BASS?  If not, is there any way to do the similar thing using some functions in BASS?  Can anyone help me?

Thank you very much!
Lee

BASS can do the file reading/decoding part for you, but you'll have to do the mixing yourself. If the source files are the same sample rate, that'll be pretty simple, but otherwise you'll have to do some resampling to get them to a common sample rate (could use BASS_FX to do that). If you want to (re)encode the mix, you can use BASSenc to do that.

A couple of old threads to check...
