How 'streamable' is the average MO3? Does the entire MO3 have to be downloaded, or only part of it to begin playing?

(possible feature for the next version of the spec: organise samples/instruments/patterns such that the sample/instrument definitions appear just before the first pattern that uses them, as opposed to in one large chunk).

Going on the basis that an MO3 is structured similar to any other module, I'd say it's no more or less streamable than say, a FastTracker module.

Good idea, though.

The samples are last thing in the MO3 file, so I guess it'd be possible to start playback before they're all downloaded. But would there be much point, given the size of MO3 files? Smiley
