Check out the guide in the support page created by Keltic Danor, Broadcasting with Shoutcast

You can now also Icecast (in Ogg Vorbis, MP3 or AAC), or alternatively Shoutcast with the Oddcast Winamp plugin in XMPlay...

For Icecast you must install the Icecast server, the Oddcast plugin and then configure. Basic config are covered here (for more details read the Icecast documentation).

lame_enc.dll and libfaac.dll can be found at Rarewares if you need them.

Okay, any ideas as to why the Winamp DSP wrapper refuses to list the Oddcast plugin? I just can't get Oddcast (neither v2 nor v3) to appear in the list.

EDIT: Solved - the Oddcast dll just wanted some dlls in the XMPlay root folder.

Yes. For those who have problems:

For V3 you should have dsp_oddcast_v3.dll (and maybe OddcastV3.chm for help) in Plugin (or root) folder. In root folder you must have bass.dll, and then dll's for encoding to at least one supported format:
Ogg Vorbis; ogg.dll, vorbis.dll and vorbisenc.dll
MP3: lame_enc.dll
AAC: libfaac.dll

For V2 you should have dsp_oddcast_v2.dll (and maybe OddcastV2.chm for help) in Plugin (or root) folder. In root folder you must have both bass.dll and basswma.dll, and then dll's for encoding to at least one supported format:
Ogg Vorbis; ogg.dll, vorbis.dll and vorbisenc.dll
MP3: lame_enc.dll
