I have oggenc, how would i convert an ogg file into mo3?

you can't. all you can do is compress a mod with mo3 and use oggenc to compress the samples. read mo3.txt in the zip-file for more info .

That thread (for example) should be made sticky. Or a simple "read before posting" message that would have the basics of MO3 gone through once again. It might make a difference, or not. If people don't bother to read MO3.txt, the chances that they'd read the sticky message are pretty small. But maybe not inexistent. Anyway, it should be stated somewhere loud and clear that You cannot convert WAV/MP3/OGG/MPC/FLAC/APE/etc.. files to MO3.
