QuoteDoes this xmp-delix.dll fix the problem?
It seems to be OK now.
However posted earlier VSS issue (various number of subsong for the same file) still appears.

QuoteI can't reproduce this... Is it dependant of file format? What archive types are you adding? Does it only happen with archived files? Do you have the latest archive plugins?
I select several non-packed tunes in Windows 98 Explorer and drag'n'drop them all at once into XMPlay.
Then I cannot delete any tune when files were drag'n'dropped to playlist, or can only delete first (played) tune when files were drag'n'dropped to main XMPlay window.

Does it also happen with not supported files (like .TXT, .DOC etc.) ?

I have 'Verify new files' option active so not supported files aren't added to playlist at all and can be deleted.

When tune has only 1 subsong and I press STOP button and later PLAY button (or HOME key - current track restart), tune is played from stopped point instead from beginning.

Problems with Darius Zendeh tunes:

http://exotica.fix.no/tunes/archive/Authors/Game/Zendeh_Darius/R-Type.lha
dz.level_1
dz.level_2
dz.level_3
dz.level_4
are recognized as Mark II and played mutely.

This xmp-delix.dll should fix that.

It looks like this song requires an MC68020+ CPU. The Starscream library can't emulate it. (I might look into adding a few 020 instructions. In the FAR future though.)

MED/OctaMED player still has similar issue.
Also when MED has more than 1 subsong, they are played mutely.

Sorry guys, is it just me that can't get test 7 to work with the latest version of XMPlay ?

Seems like all the plugins made by Fraggie work with XMPlay 3.2 only (including ACM plugin).

They just keep saying that the 3.3 version is unsupported. Both xmp-delix and xmp-sid do work though.
Fraggie's said he's gonna put the updated versions sometime next week, if you're annoyed by the popup.

New stuff in test 7a:

  • full compatibility with XMPlay 3.3
  • new format supported: Editeur Musical Sequentiel (EMS) (player by Wanted Team)
  • replaced EarAche player with a newer one (by Wanted Team)
  • few bugs removed
  • removed empty extension from the file type list
  • 38 KB smaller! :)

XMP 3.3 + most recent Delix + not-the-most-recent xmp-zip.dll = whinge about missing xmp-zip.dll.

Updated xmp-zip.dll to the most newest one, now XMPlay takes about a minute to start up and uses 100% cpu power while starting :\
Removing delix from plugins fixes the startup wait.

Any extra info you'd need, and is anyone else experiencing this?

I can't tell what's the problem now, but the way of using xmp-zip will change in the next version anyway.

With latest Xmplay/Delix/Zipplugin: plugin is present in his windows, but there aren't any file type, nor it plays any.

Help me, please. Thanks.

There are no file types when you use the "Open files(s)" dialog. Also Delix displays no extensions in the integration window. I would make little sense if it did it for 120 file types. Use "drag & drop" and have "Verify new files" option enabled.

Ok got it, but Why is no config button available? Is it "by design"?

Also I noticed that MED/OctaMED player cut long samples in songs. I have some old med and I noticed that the sound is cutted on some long voc samples. Do you need me to mail you the file?
