Can I select track when I play an APE file?
« on: 27 Oct '05 - 17:17 »
I've found a .cue file, I opened it with notepad, it's the start time of each track, can I  use it? I use the xmp-ape.dll.

P.S. I use xmplay to play a 80mb wav file, and it crashed, why?

yes you can :). if you open album.ape, xmplay will look for album.cue. if it's there, it will be used as a cuesheet, so the tracks will show up as subsongs of album.ape. you won't see these subsongs in the playlist, but when you play the file you can go to the next track by right-clicking the next button.

xmplay shouldn't have any problems opening large wav files, but do you have a crashlog or some more info?

I dunno. It's converted from a .act file. Now I use wmp10 playing it.
