Playing a CD using the lib at an other speed

How could I play a cd (with course tracks for English language learning) from a (music) CD at an other speed...

Could I buffer the track or something and then slow it down?

Any suggestions are very welcome, I'm using Delphi (7)

To play an audio CD at an altered speed, you'll have to read the sample data from the CD and stream it (BASS_StreamCreate). There are libraries that can do the CD reading for you. You probably could also use the Winamp cdreader plugin...

He said you can "USE", anyways, use a winamp plugin for reading the cd and you'll be off easier than probably any other method.

but I would like to make a player around it so that's the most unlikly option, I'll try that streaming stuff...
