Hi. First post here. I love this player, thanks a bunch for creating it.

My question is, what do I need to do to have XMP display the japanese names properly? I only found the Pager skin display them fine in the player window, but they still are wrong in the playlists. This makes me think it's a skin problem, so, how can I fix it, or what skin already works fine with them?

Thanks in advance. Smiley

The skin will have to use a font that supports those characters, which not a whole lot of skins do. If the source to the skin is available here http://support.xmplay.com, then you can change the font to support it.

(Or someone else will Tongue )

That's strange, because my Plastic skin uses a self-made font but I can see all Japanese characters here... See?

Edit: Actually I can see Japanese characters with every skin!  Huh

Whoops must be thinking of funny other characters, like that "i" with the "`" above it.

Rah'Dick, is your OS in japanese? or you just installed the support for it?

Keltic Danor, I'll check the support on how to modify the skin and see if I can fix it.

I apologize. I was using an older version of XMPlay. Today I downloaded the latest and effectively, the characters show properly now. Thanks for your replies! I'm sorry for bringing this up when it was actually my wrong.

This is odd. Most of the japanese characters show up fine, but I just found that one of the albums doesn't show right.

Is this a bug? What could be causing this behaviour?

Hmm... the tags are the ones that seem to be wrong. I do wonder why they aren't right, will try to fix them.

BTW, Rah'Dick, is BeForU good? Smiley

Yep, I installed support for Japanese text.
BeForU is ok - happy (and sometimes speedy) JPop, great for games like DDR Smiley

Cool. I haven't done much DDR, am more inclined for PIU, but I know what you mean Smiley.
