Hello from Lyon France

I am happy to use xmp, Thx

I use v.3.3 under Windows 98 and I have install and setup the DSP :
shoutcast-dsp-1-8-2b-windows.exe.     When I open the "SHOUTcast Source" Window by Options/DSP/Winamp DSP wrapper - Nullsoft SHOUTcast Source/Nullsoft SHOUTcast Source DSP v1.8.2b/    this windows stay ever opened and it comes automaticly when I start xmplayer.  Impossible to find a close's icon. Is there anything I don't see please?

Does Ctrl-F4 help? And there's always Alt-F4 but I just fear it kills XMPlay too..

Never used ShoutCast myself, I always take OddCast Roll Eyes. Probably there's a button to minimize it to tray, but if it's not, then it's not XMPlay's fault Wink. Btw, if you don't need it, you can switch it off to avoid it from showing at XMPlay startup.

Winamp DSP plugins open their windows as soon as they're initialized, and don't close them until they're uninitialized. If the plugin doesn't provide a close/minimize button (eg. the Shoutcast plugin), I don't think there's much you can do about it.

In fact when I do ALT+F4 on the "SOUTHcast Source" windows it closes but the process too... If I don't enable SOUTHcast DSP the windows stays opened ... and when I lauch xmplayer, the windows is ever there ... I have to delete the file dsp_sc.dll in xmplayer folder... it's the only solution when I don't want to user this DSp !

If I have understood thre is no solution

Thanks

Thanks for response

I have found that there is a nexer file shoutcast-dsp-1-9-0-windows.exe on nulsoft.
The link to the SOUTHcast DSP in the Xmplayer support go to :
Plugins\shoutcast-dsp-1-8-2b-windows.exe and so it have to be update !

In the DSP v 1.90 there is an icon to close the "SOUTHcast Source" window !
But in fact it is just pseudo-minimized and impossible to reopen for configure... You have to rebbot xmplayer and the ({#~*) "SOUTHcast Source" window is opened too, you have so to configure and minimize it.

At the end, when I don't need streeming for a time I have to remove the Winamp DSP wrapper - Nullsoft cast SOurce and reinstall it when i need it.....

If someone knows other goods informations for streeming bugless, wellcome...

so long and thx to all
