A little hint or tip (for the FAQ?) - to make a handy list of radio "bookmarks" create a folder somewhere convenient, calling it "radio" or something equally original, then, navigating to the site of your choice, ShoutCast, IceCast or whatever, right-click one of the "Tune In" buttons, and choose "save link as". Save file to your new folder, and rename it if necessary to the name of the station, e.g. "Drone Zone", "StillStream" etc. Fill up your folder with your favourite stations.

You can then right-click your taskbar, select "toolbars", then "new toolbar..." and choose your new folder location from the navigation box that will pop up. Click OK, and you'll have a handy little pop-up list just by the side of the system tray, all ready to instantly select a station, which will start XMPlay and automatically play the stream. No need for Winamp's bookmarks ;-)

Just discovered an easier way...

Play the stream from the site link (ShoutCast, IceCast, station's own site etc.) by (left) clicking the link as usual. Then open XMPlay playlist, and save playlist (which will be a single .pls entry) in your radio folder, under the station's name. Easier and more reliable than right-clicking the link on the page, I find.

Alright, I fixed the Info Window link and threw a couple of updates at the Support Site, too. Smiley

Although I made it quite easy for me to maintain the site all alone, it's still some work once I'm away for some weeks and have to catch up later...

1. Change the year in the phrase "XMPlay Support is © 2006 by Rah'Dick & Keltic Danor" on the bottom of the support page and in the "copyright © 2003-2006 un4seen developments. all rights reserved." phrase on the un4seen site to 2007

2. Is it possible to create multilingual support site based on the actual one? I could help with the translation of the materials to the Russian.

That's not how copyright works, Auren. The date of copyright is the date of first publication, followed by the date(s) of any major revisions, if any. ("Major" meaning: it could be seen as a separate work; in the case of a website, this could mean a total overhaul of site look/function.)

Thanks for detailed explanation Smiley But XMPlay changed its version to 3.4 in 2007, isn't it? Isn't this a major revision?

That's true, but it has nothing to do with the copyright of the website Roll Eyes.

I will, eventually... I'm sorry, but I'm pretty busy with my diploma thesis right now. I barely have time for my girlfriend. Sad I'm afraid the situation will stay like this for another 2-3 months, when I'm finished.

Hey thanks for the plug-in.  Good luck with your thesis ... just a request if you could update the scrobbler to also upload XMPlay's history from the library ... many thanks

I think you wanted to write your post in xmp-scrobbler thread :-)

Anyway, uploading history may be problematic, because Last.fm server doesn't allow submitting anything with timestamp older than the last successfully submitted track.
