So, if your knob bitmap's size is equal to the mask area it will use that for the fill and in addition overlay it with the slider bitmap?
sounds right  Wink

It's not yet released. But it's close to it. Smiley
Anyway, most of the cool things in this skin require the latest XMPlay beta, so it might be that both get released at the same time...

It's not THAT easy. At least not for people without a support site login.  Wink
(Keltic Danor has one, btw.)

its up on the main xmplay page page now and will be up on the support site soon including the source!  Shocked
btw I went with the name WMP10 to avoid confusion because xmp10 could be interpreted as xmplay v10 and I am not too imaginative  Cheesy

i like how we can adjust the equalizer height in the extended list! that's neat!
the only thing that maybe could be improved is rounded corners in the windowshade mode... that's about it!

great work on the skin!
my favourites are this one and Silk (Blue Plain).

[edit]
i think there's a bug in your skin, Maserati...
i have XMPlay setup to autoplay last position when closed... when i close XMPlay and restart it with Luna, your skin doesn't resume play on startup...

could you fix this?

[edit #2]
fixed the problem... i had my shortcuts messed up! lol
forget i said anything! Smiley

first of all excellent skin but i find it extremely annoying it doesn't have a tiny button anywhere to OPEN an mp3 or playlist. i have to press the letter O on the keyboard everytime.

would it be much asking a tiny button to open MP3's?
that way this skin would truly be superb. in the meantime i'm gonna revert back to WINAMP skin. still the very best ever. (unfortunately). Sad Smiley

It's on the Support Site now, including the source for all you modders. Grin Pretty awesome, just a few minutes after I wrote the news entry for the skin, someone had already rated it 5 stars. Smiley

Hello, Maserati

Good skin; it's a pity a had no chance to test it before release.
There are some things about it:
- you could round left side of xmplay bar in mini mode along play/pause button for better look; asimmetric look - cool *))
- there is a small bug in main window playlist section: not full scroll down - 3 last songs missed.
- found songs section in extended playlist are marked very similar as cursor and current selection: I think there is reason to highlight cursor and current selection with different font colour.

Good luck *)))

Great skin! And the size is just right.
And then I noticed the playlist does not show totals (playtime nor songs).
So I reverted to WAModern.

Great Skin, dl and using now. Btw, the playlist does not show total time, is it intentional or you forgot to put it somewhere? Again thanks a lot 4 this awesome skin!  Cool

Just have looked into skinning tutorial...
No, its impossible for me to do smth about the skin cause I am not at all familiar with graphic editors!

(((

Maybe there is a way to do it with MS Excel? )))
Or there is some chance to do it with a friend! )))

You're kidding, right? MS Excel is a table calculation program. It has some rudimentary capabilities for drawing lines and table graphs, but... No. You'd be much better off with MS Paint, although that isn't sufficient, either. Not even Paint.NET, although it has some nice features. You need at least something that can handle 8bit colour palettes.

If you REALLY want to get into graphics and don't want to buy anything, you can give the Gimp (GNU Image Manipulation Program) a try. It's free.

can anyone create a button to OPEN files rather than having to press the letter O on the keyboard every time?

Thanks.

The reason I did not add the buttons to the main window is because I thought it would be redundant and add complexity to it.

There is already 3 other ways to add files to the playlist:
1) Enable: Options>Integration>Context menu>Add to XMPlay-list
2) Drag and drop files into the playlist
3) In the Extended Playlist view there is an Add button with a green plus icon.

Dont forget you can do this with whole folders, individual files, and .pls (playlist) files.

@xaaran suggestions:
*I thought about rounding the corners in minimode, but then its less natural when you dock it to the corners of the window.
*I havent seen this playlist bug, is the equalizer panel completely lowered when this happens?
*I dont think there is a way to change the highlight for current selection and the found files if I understand correctly.

@Philippe
* Playlist Total Time / Count is in the main panel right next to the equalizer grip thing in the bottom right of the playlist.

Of course the source is up on the support site if you want to change anything to fit your preference.  Wink
Hope that helps!
/Ben
