I may be totally blind, but I can't figure out where the info displayed there comes from. I have MP3s that I've been putting in order, tagging properly and all, but in the playlist, many display information that doesn't seem to be comming from the v1 or v2 tags, and the info displayed is not right as the v2 tag is after my organization. Thanks for the help.

Might be APE tags. And XMPlay should also show that. Like if you have both v1 and v2 ID3s, there's a heading for ID3v1 first, then the tag info, then another heading for ID3v2 and so on.. MP3Tag can read, write and remove APE tags too.

Look in the Message window (hit F2). That should list all the tags along with which format(s) the tags are in.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, that showed me where it was coming from, the APEv2 tags, which I don't know why the files have them. I tried editing them with Tag&Rename, but it won't list me the files when trying to edit APEv2, as if the tags weren't available... Any program you could recommend to edit/remove the APE tags?
