Hi
How can I make it so Xmplay will popup when I click on a weblink that has Mp3,Wma and Wav? I dont really want the icon on these files but how can I set it so it will stream these formats instead of WMP??

You can make XMPlay the default player of different file types by going to Options and stuff (F9) > Integration and selecting the file types you want. You can also set the icon you want for these associated types.

And use something different than Internet Explorer. Firefox lets you choose with which program you want to open a link, somewhere in the options Roll Eyes.

Oh, I had totally forgotten the way MS software tends to prefer MS software.

In the same section in Options and stuff you can enable XMPlay to scan the Windows clipboard for playable URLs. If you do this, you can right-click weblinks and choose "Copy shortcut" (IE-speak). XMPlay will then try to play (or add to playlist, depending on what you have selected in the options) the copied link. Of course this requires XMPlay to be running at the time of copying the link but anyway, it's a nice little feature.
