Maybe it's just me, but I think I've spotted a little mistake in popup message of XMPlay: the bubble of balance control says "centre", but I think it should be "center". Roll Eyes

Nothing that really annoy me, but XMPlay has to be perfect!!!  Grin

It's not a mistake. You see, "centre" is British, whereas "center" is American. XMPlay just favours the British way of saying it.

I'll abuse this thread for a problem I've spotted with the tag reading. I uploaded a file (a song by DJ Tiesto) with a APEv2 tag, written with MP3Tag. Unfortunately, XMPlay finds a ID3v1 tag and misses the APE tag, same goes for in_mp3.dll and standalone MAD. Deleting the tag with the plugin will remove the APE tag. dBPowerAmp does properly recognize it.

The problem is there is extra data/padding after the APE tag, so it isn't found. That extra data also makes the "TAG" part of the APE signature fall exactly where an ID3v1 tag would be. I'd almost say some sod did it intentionally, to screw with players Wink
