Actually the replayer code hasn't changed that much...

Either I fail to see something obvious here or your HivelyTracker produced invalid file.

No, it crashes occasionally with memory access violation. In part of the replay code that hasn't changed from the beginning. I can see what's the problem but I don't know the cause. I'll talk to Xeron.

ftp://ftp.amigascne.org/mirrors/ftp.modland.com/pub/modules/AHX/Geir Tjelta/blondie.ahx

XMPlay takes ~100% CPU at end of subsong 2 when fade-out time > 0.

This crash is actually caused by XMPlay. Here's an update that should correct it...

Hi Fraggie - do you still check this thread?

There's an issue that's been around for a while, but I can't remember if I ever brought it up on here. Or maybe it arose before the song was released properly...

Anyway, it's a song-end detection problem with my tune 'sweeties.hvl', and a few others as well. The end is detected about eight seconds before the end of the song, while music is still playing, at about 48 lines into the pattern, for no apparent reason! I can alter the exact point at which it loops by changing tracks around in the *following* pattern row, but I have double-checked that it's not to do with rogue BXX or DXX commands in the song.

So I tried the 1st June update, but it's still the same. Here's a link to the tune:

http://www.hivelytracker.com/tunes/Syphus/sweeties.hvl

Hope you can figure it out! Thanks for your hard work on the plugin - apart from this tiny thing, it's fantastic Smiley

Oops. It looks like the silence detector was broken for multichannel files...

Try this: http://dhost.info/pieknyman/bin/test/xmp-ahx.dll

Thanks Fraggie - works *perfectly* on that HVL track!...but...it fails on an AHX track of mine :\ It breaks when there's half a pattern of silence in channels #3 and #4. Maybe the same issue?

Thanks again for looking at it though!

You didn't tell me which tune sounds broken, but i've rewritten the silence detector anyway. I might've broken something, so please report anything wrong (or good). Smiley
