JaZz - slow_day.ahx plays the same stuff constantly... I brought up the Pattern in the Visuals and saw that it went back to 000 and there's nothing inserted after that. so from time 01:32 -> 7:40 it's basically a looping sound. Is there any way to reduce the song length to where it really ends? After 12 patterns it should stop.

You can listen to the tune here:

Is it difficult to implement a silence / empty pattern recognition-routine?
I'll try to gather a bunch of tunes which continue even tho they're supposed not to and see how many they are if it's worth looking into to make such a routine.

It's not silent.

The tracker plays it the same way, so I'm not sure about cutting the song because of empty patterns...

Edit: This will be most of JaZz's songs.

This is indeed a bizzare way of tracking. Maybe these songs were intened for some customized player in a music disk/game/demo? Or edited afterwards and spread broken. (?) I don't know.

Fraggie: Where has your website gone?! Without which, we cannot enjoy your plugins!

http://dhost.info/pieknyman/ is utterly empty at time of posting.

Tested system
=============
OS: Windows 98SE
Memory: 384MB
CPU: Intel Pentium II 400
Sound: ESS Solo-1
Video: Neomagic MagicMedia 256AV
XMPlay version: 3.6.0.41

Bugs
====
When the AHX/HVL plugin is used with Windows Classic 2.1 skin, there are huge gaps between columns in 'AHX/HVL Pattern/Dot-Mode Display' visualization. The bug does not exist when used with Default and Windows Classic 2 skins.

When clicking on the timer, only the hh:mm:ss formats are shown, not order:row formats. When AHX/HVL file is playing, the order:row timer format should be made available, similar to XMPlay's built-in MOD player.

When playing a 1-song AHX/Hively Tracker module (eg: children of pie[1], Virgill-Forsaken[2]), the Length field in General tab is 1 second longer than the song length in the Songs field.

1. Right, the display went crazy because of a non-proportional font.
2. This needs to be addressed in XMPlay first. I believe it already is on Ian's "to do" list. (Probably at the bottom of that list. Smiley )
3. Rounding mismatch.

1 & 3 I will fix. Thanks for your feedback.

Bugs
====
After installing XMPlay AHX/HVL plugin rev.17, XMPlay does not load AHX or Hively Tracker modules. The 'Open file(s)' dialogue box still recognize the files as XMPlay-able file type, but the plugin itself is not listed in the XMPlay's Input and archive plugins list. The bug does not exist with XMPlay AHX/HVL plugin rev.16.

Please check if you are using the rev.17 update from 13 February (DLL version 0.0.17.1). The release from 11 February had a startup bug.
