Hi, I've been a user of XMPlay for several years in Windows environment, but now for several reasons I must work in a Linux environment and I found XMPlay to be pretty unusable there.
The main problem I find is that you cannot move the windows without flickering and sometimes they disappear, making you kill the entire process and start over again. Also the options menu, there's a strange message about discarting changes. After opening the options dialog you can't even move the windows, it freezes for some time.
Somebody made a list of things that don't work in Linux. I know some of them may be related to WINE itself but I think others don't.
Could some development work be done regarding this? I know XMPlay is supported on Windows, but I'd like to use it on Linux too.
Here is the link to the report in WineHQ: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=19038
Kind regards and congratulations for writing it,
Mick St. Louis
