I'm faced with the same problem.

I chose the following:
Dim BandCenters() As Single = {60, 170, 310, 600, 1000, 3000, 6000, 12000, 14000, 16000}
Dim BandWidth As Single = 2.5

Comments are more than welcome, because I think that adjusting the gains with these bands distords the sound. Or maybe my speakers are just too poor quality.  Sad

Hi Grin

Please check the thread above to calculate the Bandwidth correctly.
If you experience distortion with high gain value, please use compressor effect together with equalizer.

Please check the thread above to calculate the Bandwidth correctly.
I'm not sure that I understood it right. It confused me at first that the bandwidth was in semitones in the DX8 EQ and in octaves in the FX EQ.

For example if I choose the first frequency to be 30 Hz and the bandwidth to be suggested one octave then I get the following centers:
30,60,120,240,480,960,1920,3840,7680,15360
Did I calculate that right?

I tried adding a BASS_BFX_COMPRESSOR2 with these settings:
fGain = 0
fThreshold = -15
fRatio = 3
fAttack = 10
fRelease Speed = 200
lChannel = BASS_BFX_CHANALL
But now the volume keeps going up and down.

I feel so hopeless with the EQ settings Huh
