Thanks for the new large skins.  For those of us who have to increase font sizes as we get older, this is a welcome addition.

Those of us who are visually impaired and run at higher screen resolutions because of that (1440x900) thank you sincerely. Smiley

Ive cleaned up the gradients and fonts for the min_x2 skins, Neutron_x2 and WMP10_x2 are next.  I can also do this fairly easily for any other skins for XMPlay where the source is available and the author permits.

Were the other skins ever finished?

I hate to keep people waiting so here is another update Smiley
Min and Neutron are nearly done, please point out anything I might have missed or could be improved.  I have to improve wmp10_x2 still.

[edit] see original post for download link and current screenshots.

do we just put the folder in the skins folder?

I like these skins, but I think 150% would have been perfect.

yes, for example "xmplay\skins\min\panel_main.bmp"

I think 150% versions would be a better fit for 1024x768 and 1280x1024 users, its obviously more difficult than a 2x scale but I can probably do it for min and neutron.

here is a beta release of Neutron 1.5x Cheesy  I just need a little more time to fix the output panel aka the equalizer bar.  I am liking it so much better than the previous two that I am considering renaming them neutron (small) and neutron (large).

download the attachment below.  btw the music is from http://www.zreomusic.com/index.php

Eagerly awaiting the final.  One with neon blue replacing the orange would be even cooler. Smiley

I'd like to see a white/silver version of it (don't like too much black,I'd rather have more contrasting colors, like the WAClassic skin)
And please add a VU meter,it's the only thing missing from this excellent skin.
The 2x skins were too large even at 1600x1200. The 1.5x one is just about perfect Smiley

Out of curiosity... what is the point of having a VU meter? Unless you're using a device for sound recording, I don't see any benefit.

For detecting whether there is true silence in a track or just low-volume background noise, when ripping/saving to disk,as a *useful* visualization effect (to visually "see" the dynamics of a track),for troubleshooting problems with your audio hardware/software when they arise, etc.
