RIPPING uvox stream with XMPLAY
« on: 26 Mar '08 - 18:41 »
So I see that XMPLAY now has the ability to playback UVOX streams (AOL XM RADIO), however I can't figure out how to download the stream to my computer (like you can do with normal shoutcast streams). Whenever I right click on the streaming play list file and click write to disk- nothing happens. Thanks in advance!

XMPlay doesn't support UVOX itself, so I think you must be using a Winamp plugin? Unless that plugin has the ability to save a local copy, I'm afraid it won't be possible to do that.

Look at an example in this post:
http://www.un4seen.com/forum/?topic=3870.msg49873#msg49873

But it will be saved as an .nsv file wthout any names. Just one big .nsv file.
Duh, uvox streams are a pain...
