Hello,

my programming environment is VS2005 on win xp64.

when I try to compile my project with Build -> Platform target "Any CPU" (the default option) it builds ok but when I am trying to run the application I'm getting the error "An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007000B)" on the very first call to any Bass.Net function.

Running this build produces a crash (as expected).

When I select x86 as the target platform I can run the application on any x86 or x64 XP/Vista system without any problem.

Is this the normal behavior I should expect, or I am missing something?

Thank you,

Paul

Are you also using all the x64 bit versions of BASS?
Note, that the BASS.NET.dll is compatible with x86 and x64 - but that you'd need the special x64 dll-versions of any native BASS/add-ons!

Actually I thought they are included in the normal download packages  - but I am not fully sure.

The x64 BASS (and BASSWMA) beta is available here...

I'm afraid there isn't an x64 BASSenc available at present.
