« on: 13 Feb '09 - 08:45 »
Hello everyone

new to this forum, I try to use Bass . dlls with delphi to stream audio on web

with D7 and Bass.dll, everything fine

with D2009.Net and Bass.dll, unable to convert the PAnsiChar for URL, always get "incorrect Transtypage" from Delphi ...

with D2009.Net and Bass.Net.Dll, I can see the units Bass and Bass.Net. but nothing after ...

any advice ??

I have never used Delphi for .Net myself.
But if Delphi.Net is fully .Net compatible you should be able to use BASS.NET along with it.
You might read the BASS.NET documentation (Overview chapter) for an introduction and about how to use it together with BASS.

Maybe that's the reason it's called Microsoft .NET. Microsoft wants that you use Visual Studio for dotnet dev.

That's not fully true. As you might also use Mono with BASS.NET - so there is nothing hardly tied to Microsoft or Visual Studio.
