Hi,
I'm sure that this is too obvious but I can't resolve it ! ... waffle ...

When a sound source passes a listener there is a very marked transition of the audio from the right to left audio channel ... ok if the listener is directly in line with path of the source then this would be ostensibly correct ... but there must be a way of effectively panning the audio progressively ... yes I know that I could pan in my own code ... but in 3D mode is there a way ?

Thanks

Positioning the channel further in front of the listener should smoothen the left/right transition of the sound.

Thanks for the feedback ... I'll check out your suggestion ... I wasn't certain whether Bass actually accounted for biaural listening as there's no reference to left/right listener separation.

I have found that I had to move the listener's position further forward than the camera as the sound levels were becoming low ...

Thanks

I'm having a simular problem with attenuation of 3d sounds. They just fall off too fast no matter what. Have you tryed the RollOff and Distance Factors?  I'm still experimenting, but setting them as low as possible (0.00000001ish) gets close to where it needs to be, though it would seem I still need some kind of scale factor... perhaps I are missing something?
