Offset regarding playback

Hi,

Is there a way to determine the arbitrary offset that is applied to the decoded audio during a playback? The decoded waveform does not seem to match the playback waveform (truncated from 20-100 ms at the start). Thanks!

What format are your files? Most formats won't introduce an offset/delay. Some like MP3 and AAC can, but the encoder will then usually include delay info in the file, which the decoder (eg. BASS) can use to remove the delay.
