Meanwhile you can copy Winamp's in_mod.dll, which provides PTM-support (to a certain degree), into XMPlays plugin folder.
I've copied this in_mod plugin, but still doesn't work...Can you play PolyTracker modules with XMPlay?

Ah, i see, XMPlay doesn't work with the current version of in_mod.dll, it even refuses to start here. But i have an much older version which i kept for a Foobar2000 Winamp-Input-Wrapper, since the later releases of in_mod.dll refused to work with the Wrapper too. This older in_mod.dll does work in XMPlay without issues as well.

I uploaded it just now, so grab it while it's hot:
In_Mod v2.2.10 beta 29 (XMPlay compatible) (no worries though, it's going to stay there) ;D

EDIT: Downloadlink fixed.

If I recall correctly, extension has to be after filename in dos/win... So don't blame poor in_mod.dll... ;)

Echhhh my English...sorry, but I better speak/write German...
Not only in Win/DOS. On Amiga ist extension always after name. But Amiga players recognize type of file not only after analyzing extension but also after analyzing head of file. Amiga is better ;D

XMPlay doesn't seem to mind if the file extension is removed, it'll still recognize the file. It's Windows that needs the file extension to associate the file with programs.

Actually sound files on the Amiga have extension almost always before file name... (Although it isn't needed for anything except user convenience.)

Which was/is way more logical and structured, talking about long file names.

Really, being able to sort by file extension nullifies any kind of benefits with filetype suffixes, unless you're still limited to a 100-column or less display area.

Anyhow, this is Windows, not AmigaOS.

Yeah, strong argument. What makes you think one cannot sort by suffix?

Here's Aprosys player that works with delix:
http://www.exotica.org.uk/players/amiga/delilatest/deliplayers/AProSys
Put it into xmp-delix.players\Various.

And for the FTM... Something must have got broken. I can't get it to play most of the songs either... :)

Ahh, now i got it working. ;D

Previously I tried with the compressed modules found in the original AProSys distribution, which Delix fails to load (though i have the Xmp-Modpacker.dll installed).

The updated sizeoptimized version of the Delix-plugin (including AProSys player and Players.txt, with the obsolete Mark Cooksey player removed) and uncompressed AProSys modules can be downloaded here:

Songs you have in mind are compressed with XPK, which the modpacker doesn't intend to handle. :)

Lie, that's all lie! Prior to installation I talked to the plugin, saying i would only put it into my XMPlay folder if it would support XPK-compression as well. The plugin promissed to do its very best, but it turns out i have been cheated. ;D

Delix test 8 has been released. This is the final Delix release.

Changes:
 - full XMPlay 3.4 compatibility
 - MSVC dll's not needed anymore
 - zip plugin not anymore required to be in the same directory as delix
 - works with the latest greatest zip plugin
 - one .dat file instead of .players + .env
 - 3 new formats (129 total):
      - MusicdiskTracker (aka His Master's Noisetracker) (by Wanted Team)
      - AudioSculputure/StarTrekker AM/FM (by UADE team)
      - Special FX ST (by Wanted Team)
 - SynthDream player updated (Wanted Team)
 - support for plugin update notification

Note: You need at least XMPlay v3.4.0.5 for this plugin to work.

Note: StarTrekker player's file verifing routine is not thread safe. This may be okay for UADE, but on XMPlay you will encounter problems when playing and adding files to playlist at the same time.

(Edit: forgot to mention SpecialFX ST...)

Ok, I managed to find the updated XMPlay version.

But now when I start up XMPlay I get an error dialog: "Sorry guys... Can't find xmp-delix.players."

I tried renaming xmp-delix.dat to xmp.delix.players, but that won't work either.

Plz fix!

Xmp-delix.dll and xmp-delix.dat must be placed in the very same folder. Xmp-zip may be anywhere as long as XMPlay sees it.

(Message about "xmp-delix.players" has been corrected.)
