You need to update the PumaTracker eagleplayer to $VER: PumaTracker player module V1.1 (12 Apr 2006) from Wanted Team.

Eheheh, you da man.

Incidently... Any news on the MOD15 plugin? The beta you posted earlier (or at least, the beta I have) doesn't play some files correctly (http://www.exotica.org.uk/wiki/Operation_Wolf)

According to this document the /* 4 */     ULONG   modlen; says how long the song is.
http://www.jalix.org/ressources/miscellaneous/~vrac/faqsys/docs/med-form.txt

But when playing the song in xmplay the mmd0 songs are neverending repeating. Is the songlength not implemented or am I missing something?

That field actually represents the file size.

Ahh, thought that might have been the spook. Is there any way we can implement a song length detector when the song is added to the playlist?
like check for repeating point and then say that's how long it should be. or maybe add a repeat once or something!?
both for octomed format and .fc.

Maybe .fred can also get a songlength somehow?

It's not that easy to correctly calculate the song duration. Remember that the song is actually played by emulated software. It would require to quickly play back the song in the background and figure out when the output data is looping (or H/W register changes repeat). A killer. SID's have SLDB to avoid using this method in realtime.

Sorry, Delix sources will not be released.

It's a real shame that you aren't developing this anymore.. or releasing the source :'(. There's no Trackbar.. no tag reading.. And to top it off, can't use Oldsk00l MOD Player plugin, which supports a few formats better than Delix - since winamp plugins are loaded after XMplay plugins.

Also it just loops and loops..never goes to next song

Just remove the eagleplayers from delix.players archive corresponding to the formats you want to disable.

I want to signal that this plugin has some problem with a David Wittacker file

http://www.exotica.org.uk/wiki/Wrath_of_the_Demon

The file has 9 subsong, and the first is correctly read by the plugin, and is signalled correctly as 1/9

But how do i seek to the next subsong? :D

Moreover the oldschool plugin recognises only 4 subsongs.

The only player wich correctly plays it is Deliplayer

I really would like to hear it with xmplay :(

Hope this will be fixed

Thanks

Have you tried right-clicking the Next-button in the main window?

All of a sudden the delix plugin doesn't work anymore!!  :'(
Formats that were working perfectly (e.g. Lionheart's sa.* files) now won't load and return: "Can't extract .dat file!", "No interrupt entry!".
Obviously the plugin is correctly installed. I have XMplay 3.5.1.

Please help! I'm desperate without my Amiga mods!!

EDIT: just tested with the old XMplay 3.4.2 from http://support.xmplay.com/file.php?cat_id=7 and they work again! New XMplay 3.5.1 isn't compatible with latest delix beta plugin! :'(
Looks like v3.5.1 can't extract the .dat file anymore!

How about the latest version at http://www.un4seen.com/stuff/xmplay.exe ? Seems to be 3.5.1.46 at the time of writing.

If you look in the "Input and archive plugins" list, do you see an "Archive: ZIP archives" entry? If not, it looks like you're missing the ZIP plugin (XMP-ZIP.DLL). If it still isn't working with the ZIP plugin loaded, please provide an example file (that the Delix plugin should play) to test with.

Well, and I've started "from back". Has somebody tried to force Deliplayer to use XMPlay-plugins? I've tried, but without success...

Since when does Deliplayer have support for XMPlay plugins at all?
And how would this be related to the Delix plugin?

Hi there. I know that the plugin is essentially "dead" and all, fair enough. But with the newest XMPlay v3.8 release, the existing Delix version (test 8c) is now immediately throwing an error "You need at least XMplay v3.4.0.5" on startup and won't work at all. It used to work before. Not asking for any kind of substantial update, but could it at least be recompiled to have the version check permanently removed or something?

Better still, if the source could be released so someone else could pick up the torch, that would be awe-tacular.

Cheers
Dhry
