This is just an hipotetical question, but I might actually try and do something like this.
I have some mo3 files, while they sound good in xmplay, some of the samples have noticeable compression artifacts. So I thought they would for sure be even more noticeable if I were to convert then directly to mp3 to use in my "el cheapo" taiwanese mp3/4 player (I have an x-micro f-510). Is there anything I can do, without too much of a hassle, to clean those artifacts? Could Audacity be used for this pourpose?  ???
