OMG, XMPlay is taking the world domination by spreading subconcious influcences to the web! ;D

Play this sound and watch the Spectrum (3D) Vis to see what I mean...

I'll check that out tonight. Don't take it down yet. ;D

This reminds me of a possible feature... would it be feasable for Ian to make a preference for an "anthem" track, i.e., a file that plays when XMPlay is opened (a la Winamp when you first install it... you know, that llama whipping thing.)

Such a preference would of course be optional.

Something similar: A spectrograph from a song by Aphex Twin

That spectrograph face was once mentioned on this forum here.

You can make out the face using XMPlay's 3D Spectrum, but it's not quite as clear.  You should make the vis. window larger vertically to see it better.

Wow!
Well, on my Windowlicker MP3, I only found this:

By the way, AFTER creating that sound with CoolEditPro2, I found Coagula on the web, which lets you create such pictures...

[Edit]Ah, the "face"-song is "Equation" from the Windowlicker EP... [/Edit]

Now all you need to do is to modify the "demo.ogg" file that came with nullsofted.xmpskin, and presuade Ian to include it with XMPlay as the "first-run" sound!

If we're being picky, the title is NOT "Equation".
It is: ftp://ftp.un4seen.com/incoming/equation.jpg (Please check it from there somehow, if you can.. Sorry for the inconvenience :P)

“Excuse me” Guest31337 entered the conversation. “Who is Jack?”
“Jack RULES!” said Ralesk.
“Jack 0WNS!” said Kruser.
“Jack DANIELS!” said AcidDose.
Ralesk started slapping AcidDose around with a printed copy of IT 2.14 manual.

“NO, NO, NO!!!” Guest31337 yelled to make Kruser stop talking. “I meant, this case that could not be judged… Why can’t the creature receive judgment?”

“Oh…” Kruser was a bit shaken to find out exactly what Guest31337 was talking about. “I guess he or she has done precisely the same amount of good and bad things… So he or she can not be sent either to heaven or hell.”
“So he or she will come back to life?”
“Not really… Since he/she has passed away, technically he/she cannot be alive… So he or she will exist as an undead.”

Ever read "The Wish List" by Eoin Colfer?
