Shoutcast Broadcasting
« on: 20 Apr '10 - 14:37 »
Hi,

I want to code a Shoutcast broadcasting tool with Delphi.
I looked at the StreamTest Sample. But I have two importand Questions.
Where do I set the Server/Port and where do I play the File to stream?

Greetings,
Andreas

The Delphi STREAMTEST example just demonstrates playing a custom-generated stream, so I'm not sure that is what you want. It sounds like the BASSenc add-on (available from the BASS webpage) is more like what you're after, as it includes the ability to send data to a Shoutcast server; see the CAST example for a demonstration of that.

Hi,

thanks for your help.
But the samplrs don't work at me... Delphi can't find what the BASS_ vars are about...

Andreas

Have you copied the BASS.PAS file to BASSenc's "Delphi" directory, above the example's directory?
