I see foobar2000 has Discord's Rich Presence, what about XMPlay? Would it be hard to implement?

To judge that, it would be helpful to describe what it is actually supposed to do.

Display the currently played song, maybe even the lime elapsed, and even the position in the playlist/library. And having the icon, rather than the question mark placeholder.

Nonsense, no such thing available on foobar2000, either. Discord Rich Presence is about online gaming.

What they probably mean is this plugin: https://github.com/ultrasn0w/foo_drpc
It is certainly possible to implement such a plugin, the sources of the MSN "Now Playing" plugin can be used as a starting point.

Ah yes, probably the OP meant this one. It's not in foobar2000's list of officially supported plugins, though.

Yes, I'm talking about this plugin, I didn't know it wasn't official though.
Does every XMPlay plugin has to be approved or something?

You can download the XMPlay plugin SDK (it's at the bottom of the plugin page) and just start developing; when it's done it can of course be sent to Ian for inclusion on the official XMPlay page, but you can also spread the plugin through other means (like that foobar plugin).
