I noticed that the latest Mac OS X library contains the PPC architecture, which is not allowed by the Mac App store.  I might be showing my ignorance here, but is there a way to remove this architecture from a dylib?

Yep, the PowerPC architecture can be removed by running "make intel" in a Terminal window, which will place a PowerPC-free version of the libbass.dylib library (and any add-ons that are present) in an "intel" folder.

open Terminal and type:
lipo libbass.dylib -remove ppc7400 -output libbass2.dylib

then ppc7400 arch will be removed from libbass.dylib, the output is libbass2.dylib, you can rename it and replace original libbass.dylib
the sample command line assumes libbass.dylib is in current directory.

Thank you, pzs7602!
There is an error message about ppc7400, but when I use your command with only "ppc" it works!

Thank you very much!
