When playing Internet radio stations, five "recent tracks" are displayed by default in the message window. Is there a way to set this to 10 or even unlimited?

It would be useful to get the playlist for an entire show that you've just enjoyed, with a single click and without having to go to the station's website.

You can change the number of recent tracks that are shown by adding a "RecentTracks=<number>" line to your XMPLAY.INI file (under the "[XMPlay]" line).
