Ignoring unwanted text in radio track name

When playing a radio stream, is it possible to truncate or ignore track text after a certain keyword e.g. in the following stream, if everything after "song_spot" could be ignored:

It looks like that stream is including extra info in the Shoutcast "StreamTitle" metadata, I would guess for use by its own custom playback app. There isn't currently any way to truncate that in XMPlay.
