Issue [ Search in selected list]
« on: 16 Jun '19 - 19:18 »
Hi,

so i'm having an issue:
 - with a search in the list which
 -  has all items selected and
 - after 'found', only that item stays selected.

Expectation:

 - i need to find item,
 - i don' t need to deselect 'all but the one i found'.

My usage:

 - on top i have test medias
 - then script generate some shuffle media that become 'selected'
 - then i push 'del' to remove selected and keep 'test' media
 - [ personaly] i don't like when selection changes without my interaction.

The playlist/library window track selection shouldn't change unless you click in the "Find tracks" search results list, at which point the playlist/library track selection will match the search results selection. An option could perhaps be added to disable the playlist/library track selection. I'll look into it.

Thank you.

I think..
When in the playlist selected 'single one' item:

 - it's great to jump and get selection on found item, and

otherwise:

 - just jump to found item.

Here's an update that adds a "Select in list" option to the "Find tracks" window:

Thanks You,

tested, and:

 - it's good, but:
 - after activating in 'search..' found item,
   selection takes that single item.

My expectation:

 1. playlist scrol jumps to track
 2. 'triangle' pointer sets to the track
 3. track starts to play, but
    previous selection does not change.

I understand that it can break application logic
in playlist, and
that feature is not critical to me.

So thank you again.
