Suggestion: ListenBrainz "scrobbling" plugin

Just being curious as someone who has been paying a little attention to the ListenBrainz project by MusicBrainz, is there anybody here currently using it, and do you think there is a possibility of a "scrobbling" plugin ever being developed for it.

As there is already a scrobbler plugin for last.fm, it could probably be adjusted to submit to the ListenBrainz API. The two APIs don't look very similar from a superficial look, but since the code that sends the data to the server is very self-contained, it could probably be updated to talk to a different API.
