VST3 support for BASS

Any change we ever get VST3 (host) support in BASS, i.e. a BASS_VST3 add-on?

The current BASS_VST add-on is still on the VST2 API which is no longer supported. So I need VST3 support.
Would it be an option for anyone (including Ian) for a paid development? How much money would be needed? Maybe the community could collect that money?

I've never used VST3 myself, so I'm probably not best placed to create an add-on for it unfortunately, but I'll be happy to help with the BASS side of things for anyone else that decides to create one.
