XMPlay, error-msg on start
« on: 18 Jul '04 - 08:28 »
Hi,
I've been using XMPlay for some time now. Recently my computer needed some fixing up, too much crap on it I guess.
So today I found out that XMPlay didn't want to start, I received an error message as soon as I clicked on it. If I tried to open an .mp3  the error message was displayed along with a new one saying the pathway for the mp3 file was incorrect.
I've reinstalled it several times to no avail...

I'm using windows XP with XMPlay 3 btw.

error message:

Image didn't work.
The message was the regular "the program has encountered an error..."

Run regedit, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Un4seen Developments\XMPlay2 and delete that key.

I'll add a button to do that to my little utility (XMPlaySecret).

Didn't work. Windows pop up as if I started it for the first time but when the actual program is about to start it the error message pops up...
