I browsed through the FAQ before posting this message, and all I found regarding using XMPlay as a default CD Player in Windows was a document explaining how to enter the change manually.

That being the case, I created a registry file that would take care of it all for you (including changing the default icon to XMPlay's icon when viewing audio CD's through Explorer.)  The change also applies to the "Play" right-click function.  Since it was a spur of the moment thing, I only got to test it on a Win98SE box.  Given that the changes are very minimal, I have confidence it would work on a Win2k/XP box.  For those interested in testing it out on a Win2k/XP box, please let me know.  The .zip file includes a screenshot of how it will look when the change is completed.

The only pre-requisite is to have the CD player plugin installed (found at the XMPlay support site.)

Later!
