Buggy BASSWMA?

When playing a MP3 or Ogg Vorbis file while loading a website or saving a large ammount of data everything works nice - the music plays. When playing a WMA file the sound hangs when doing other work in the foreground.
Why?

By the way, I have a Pentium II with 333 MHz, 224 MB-RAM and Window 2000 SP3.

WMA files/streams are decoded in a separate thread created by the Windows Media modules. These threads run at normal priority, so on a lowish spec system other stuff could well interfere with the WMA decoding.

I'll try increasing the priority of the WMA threads in the next BASSWMA release. If you like, I can send an update to try now, to see if it has the desired effect.

Would be cool, yes! ;D

How'd you get 224 Megs of RAM?  You must've put 128 & 96 together, which is 128, 64, and 32...  But...  Why?  :)

Exactly! The fun part is that the 32 SDRAM is 66 MHz, the 64 one is 100 MHz and the 128 one is at 133 MHz. What is the speed of all - 66 MHz. Anyway, because my mainboard has a 66 MHz BUS, it isn't important.

The "problem" is that I had one 32 MB chip shipped with my PC. After that I bought a 64 MB chip, but didn't want to take out the 32 one. Same happened with the 128 one. I also won't buy any new ones, as I have enough for what I do.
