I almost felt of my chair after i heard this. This was quite unexpected and scary  :o
I noticed this hapening on few tracks and have recorded a preview of this... thing...  :-\  And this isn't happening on winamp.

Hmm.. I got the weird sound with every player I tested with, including XMPlay, foobar2000 v0.8, WMP 10 and Winamp 5.06. Or did I miss something?

You should have heard it on any player. I have recorded that sound. (there is such option to record any sound that goes from my SB instead of recording sounds from microphone). It's the place where song ends and starts a new one. In fact i gues the song is a bit corrupt... there is no normal ending, but none of players make that "Submarine PING! efect" and it's scary!!! :-[ A man can get a heart attack while listening to this loudly  :(
I'll upload that song as soon as i am be able to.

"Borodin!  One PING only!"

My God mon, what were you doing on the system when this occurred?

This just happens on some frames of a very few tracks. And this realy doesn't make me feel good when i'm listening music loudly. I don't do anything what could make this PING! sound.
BTW There was reverb on. I turned it of what made the PING! shorter. But still i don't like it :(

I run into this alot, it happens when the of the song file is corrupted. If you can get another copy of the file from another source, or record it yourself (heh), then it ought to sound fine.
